I don’t know about you, but I am anxious for the release of the next version of Mac OS X. I’m holding off with the purchase of a new MacBook Pro until Leopard’s release. I’d love to see it released before the end of 2006, however my prediction is that it will be released in January of 2007. Most of the major releases from Apple coincide with the two major events — the MacWorld conference in January and World Wide Developers Conference in August. The Apple website says that Leopard is due to be released Spring of 2007. Therefore, I believe this will happen in January during the MacWorld conference, since there won’t be another major Apple conference until August.
What do you say? Am I right, or do you have a better guess?
