MacBook Pro is Upgraded
Tuesday, October 24th, 2006 | Apple News

Today is a great day for prospective MacBook Pro buyers. Apple has upgraded both the 15 and 17 inch MacBook Pro’s to Core 2 Duo processors. But that is not all. They’ve increased the amount of memory and hard drive space that you can get. The standard configuration now comes with 1GB of memory and 120GB of hard drive storage. In addition, Apple brought back to both the 15 and 17 inch models FireWire 800. And finally, MacBook Pro’s now come with a double-layer optical drive. These are amazing upgrades to the pro line of MacBooks. And the best thing about it is that the price remains the same. For those of you who are looking to buy a MacBook Pro, there hasn’t been a better time.
