Google Warming up to Apple
Monday, October 30th, 2006 | Apple News
It seems that Google is really serious about their relationship with Apple. Several months ago Google’s CEO, Eric Schmidt was appointed to the Apple board and I think I’m seeing some results. A few weeks ago Google launched a Mac blog dedicated to discussing and showcasing how Google is for Mac. Google reaffirmed its commitment to making its products compatible with the Mac. The most recent post on the Google Mac blog talks about Google’s presence at the MacExpo UK this Fall. Google was showcasing their software and its use on the Mac. They put the spotlight on Google Video, Google Maps, Google Earth (which I have on my Mac) and SketchUp. I’m looking forward to the day when all of Google’s products will run smoothly in Safari and on OS X.
