Apple announced today that they are working with airline companies to provide in-flight iPod integration. The airlines involved are Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM and United. These airlines will provide iPod connectors, which will allow iPod users to power their iPod and view video content on the displays in the back of the seat. iPod is a great travel companion for many people, and now it is being officially integrated into these six airlines. Apple has also indicated that they are working on making this integration a reality on more airlines in the near future. This current integration will begin to take effect mid-2007. Next time you fly on Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM or United look for the iPod connector. The full press release can be found on Apple.com. Check it out for additional details.
