DRM-free Music from iTunes

Saturday, April 7th, 2007 | Apple News | No Comments

Apple is revolutionazing the music industry once again.  All of the EMI Music’s diginal catalog is now offered DRM-free on iTunes.  This means that you can do whatever you want with the music you purchase from iTunes.  No more restrictions.  This is a major step toward compatability of music purchased through iTunes Music Store and non-Apple MP3 players.  Apple plans to offer half of its iTunes Music Store collection of songs DRM-free by the end of 2007.  The DRM-free songs come at a small premium.  These songs will cost $1.29 each.  And if you already own songs that are now DRM-free, Apple will let you remove the restrictions for 30 cents per song.
