Faster Firefox for Mac

If you’re using Firefox on your Mac, you may be interested in squeezing out of it a little more speed. Neil Bruce Lee has done a great job of optimizing Firefox for the G4, G5 and Intel processors. Visit his site BeatNikPad.com to download the version suited for the processor powering your machine. I find Neil’s version of Firefox speedier than the official version and even Safari.

First Impressions of a MacBook Pro

This is the third week since I purchased my MacBook Pro. I think some first impressions are in order. Basically, I love the machine. It runs great, it looks beautiful and I am happy with the purchase. This is the short version of my first impressions. For those of you interested in more detail the longer version is after the jump.
Apple Inc. Updates MacBooks

Apple has updated its consumer line of notebooks. MacBooks are now faster and come with more memory and larger hard drives. They ship with 1GB of memory standard and the hard drive can be upgraded up to 200GB’s. This is a welcome upgrade, considering the price remains the same.
