YouTube is now live on Apple TV. But in addition to that Apple announced today that YouTube will also be available on iPhone when it ships on June 29th. “A new Apple-designed application on iPhone will wirelessly stream YouTube’s content to iPhone over Wi-Fi or EDGE networks and play it on iPhone’s stunning 3.5 inch display.”
To begin streaming YouTube on your Apple TV, just run the software update feature built-in to Apple TV. Apple has not only created a way to stream professionally created media from one’s computer to the living room TV, now it has expanded this capability to user created content available on the popular video sharing network – YouTube. Now you don’t have to huddle around your computer to watch a funny video of someone falling of a bike or a dog chasing some old granny. Such content can be enjoyed on your living room big screen TV, thanks to Apple.
