Commemorating First Year of Parenthood

On April 10, 2009 my son Jaden celebrated his first birthday. This occasion also marked the first year of parenthood for my wife and I. It’s definitely been a year of adjustment. Every new stage in life takes time to get used to. Not sure if I’m used to being a parent. But I think I’ve made some progress during this year.

Dining Out

Jaden’s first dining experience at a Chinese Buffet. It sure looks like he’s enjoying it. At this stage of his life, it seems that he enjoys just about anything. As long as he gets to do it his way.

Snow Trip

During the Christmas and New Year holidays my wife, Jaden and I with my sister in-law and her family took a trip to the mountains to enjoy some freshly fallen snow. It was a great trip. The snow had fallen some 2 days before. The roads were clear enough that chains were not required, but the view was spectacular. See the video below and you’ll know what I mean.
